Pine Island Activities This Weekend- Oct. 22

FRIDAY, OCT 21:

Enjoy live music at Bert’s Bar – Mike Imbasciani, Miceli’s Restaurant – Ground Zero, Bubba’s Roadhouse & Saloon.
Nav-a-Gator Grill presents music by Gary and Kerri from 2 – 5pm. 

SATURDAY, OCT. 22:
Rocktoberfest St. James City, noon til ?? at St. James City businesses, from Froggy’s south. Enjoy live music at Froggy’s, Ragged Ass, Low Key Tiki and Woody’s. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, raffle prizes, “Kids Zone” with activities, vendors. No admission; Kids Zone ticket prices vary.
Nav-a-Gator Grill presents music by John Frinzi from 2 – 5pm.
The Nav-a-Gator is now taking reservations for holiday or special celebrations. They can seat up to 100, call 941-627-3474 for more information.
Kids Read Down Fines at Pine Island Library, 1 – 3 pm. Earn a $2 coupon for every 15 minutes of reading during the allotted time in the designated area of the library.

SUNDAY, OCT. 23:

Pine Island Elementary Fishing Derby & Tournament, Olde Fish House Marina, Matlacha. Kids fishing begins at 8 am through12:30. Adult anglers weigh in at 3 pm. 50/50 raffles, Chinese and silent auctions during the day. Live music continually, prizes awarded, and fish fry open to the public, 5 PM. Sponsored by the Matlacha Hookers, to benefit Pine Island Elementary School.

MONDAY, OCT. 24:

Bert’s Bar & Grill presents Randy McAllister (from Texas) at 7:30 pm.

Live music at area locations.

Great fishing, boating, kayaking, nature tours are available any day of the week; check out the local guides, marinas and shops for what’s best this weekend. The public boat ramp in Bokeelia has reopened.
